Many thanks for your comments Jilly. Had a sneak at your stories about Tommy and subscribed to your blog to keep up to date….can you check I appear on your list. I’m still bed-bound for the moment but now I’ve got some great reading material. I’m looking forward to reading all your stories and learning all about Tommy. How do you manage to be so prolific? I should be getting back to my own book but am finding it hard to discipline myself. Keep in touch.

Hi just fell onto your blogsite… Nice to hear good stories about the health service!
I say that after spending 24 hours in A and E in Wales on Friday with my mother on a trolley who had suffered a stroke. It took them that long to find her bed on a ward, and a further day to give her a cat scan… then she had to wait for 3 days over the New Year bank holiday until yesterday to see a specialised stroke doctor (because they don’t work on weekends and bank holidays!).
Makes me want to move to Italy!
Your stories are uplifting and humorous… keep writing them! (oh and I hope you’re ok after your accident

Well, I like this post. Southern people, calabrian especially, loves talk about its ancient Greek tradition, they are proud to be part of Magna Grecia, at same time with sicilian people, they feel themselves the first one in Italy with a great past with civil rights , a wealty trade and finest culture…once upon ago (unfortunatelly).
